Cookies Policy
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This policy explains how Legacy of Eternity uses cookies and similar browser storage on legacyofeternity.com. The short version: we use no tracking or advertising cookies. We keep you signed in with a small amount of local storage, and nothing more.
What we store, and why
Rather than cookies, our website uses your browser's local storage for one purpose only — keeping you signed in. When you log in, we save three values:
- loe.access — a short-lived token that authorises your requests;
- loe.refresh — a token used to renew your session without signing in again;
- loe.user — basic account details (such as your display name and role) so the site can show the right view.
These are strictly necessary: without them you could not stay logged in. They live only in your browser and are sent to our own servers, never to advertisers. If you are not signed in, we store nothing.
Cookies we do not use
We do not set analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers or social-media pixels.
Third-party connections
- Google Fonts — the site's typefaces are served by Google. This does not set cookies, but loading the fonts sends your IP address to Google.
- External links — links such as our Discord open third-party sites that have their own cookies and policies, outside our control.
Managing your storage
You can clear local storage at any time through your browser's settings or developer tools, and you can block storage for this site. Clearing it simply signs you out; the site keeps working. Signing out also removes the values listed above.
Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce cookies or new browser storage, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above before doing so.
